Position Summary:
The At-Large Member for Large Clubs represents the interests
and perspectives of large Rotary clubs on the District Leadership Team. They
offer guidance for managing complexity and maximizing community impact and
facilitate communication between district leaders and large-sized club members.
Reports To:
District Governor
Term:
One year, renewable for up to 3 years at the discretion of
the District Governor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the specific
interests of large clubs at the district level and provide their
perspectives.
- Communicate district
information and decisions to large club members.
- Gather feedback from large
clubs and share it with district leaders.
- Advise on effective management
and organizational structures for large clubs.
- Suggest innovative approaches
to large-scale project management and member engagement.
- Guide clubs in building strong
external relationships and maintaining stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in the development of
performance evaluation tools for continuous improvement.
- Help address challenges faced
by large clubs in the district.
Qualifications:
- Member of a large Rotary club
in the district.
- Insight into the operational
dynamics of large Rotary clubs.
- Expertise in organizational
management and external relations.
- Strong communication skills to
address a diverse membership.
