Position Summary:
The At-Large Member for Medium Clubs represents the interests
and perspectives of medium-sized Rotary clubs on the District Leadership Team.
They provide strategic insights and support to effectively balance growth and
operational efficiency, and facilitate communication between district leaders
and medium-sized club members.
Reports To:
District Governor
Term:
One year, renewable for up to 3 years at the discretion of
the District Governor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for medium clubs in
district policy-making and initiatives, and provide their perspectives.
- Communicate district
information and decisions to medium club members.
- Gather feedback from medium
clubs and share it with district leaders.
- Provide strategic guidance on
membership growth, community impact, and internal operations.
- Share resources and training
opportunities to build clubs' internal capabilities.
- Encourage leadership
development and mentorship within clubs.
- Promote partnerships and
collaborations within the district for medium clubs.
- Help address challenges faced
by medium clubs in the district.
Qualifications:
- Member of a medium-sized Rotary
club in the district.
- Understanding of the needs and
aspirations of medium-sized Rotary clubs.
- Strong skills in strategic
planning and resource management.
- Ability to communicate
effectively across diverse groups.
