Position Summary:
The At-Large Member for Small Clubs represents the interests
and perspectives of small Rotary clubs on the District Leadership Team. They
provide input on district decisions, help address the needs of small clubs, and
facilitate communication between district leaders and small-sized club members,
promoting their interests and providing them with strategic guidance to enhance
their self-sufficiency and growth.
Reports To:
District Governor
Term:
One year, renewable for up to 3 years at the discretion of
the District Governor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the interests of
small clubs in district board meetings and provide their perspectives.
- Communicate district
information and decisions to small club members.
- Gather feedback from small
clubs and share it with district leaders.
- Advocate for resources,
policies, and initiatives to support small clubs.
- Offer strategic advice focusing
on membership engagement and resource management.
- Generate and present innovative
ideas to address the unique challenges of small clubs.
- Facilitate networking and
collaborative opportunities among small clubs and with the district.
- Empower small clubs to develop
and implement their own growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- Member of a small Rotary club
in the district.
- Familiarity with the dynamics
and challenges of small Rotary clubs.
- Strong advisory and strategic
planning skills.
- Effective communication and
interpersonal skills.
