District International Service Chair

Position Summary:

The District International Service Chair leads efforts to support and expand international service projects and partnerships. This involves encouraging club participation, collaborating with other district committees, and ensuring international activities align with Rotary objectives.

Reports To:

District Governor

Term:

One year, renewable for up to 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

·         Promote awareness of international service opportunities to clubs.

·         Connect clubs to resources to develop impactful international projects.

·         Support clubs in applying for Rotary Foundation global grants.

·         Foster relationships between district clubs and international partners.

·         Collaborate with other district committees supporting international efforts.

·         Ensure district international activities follow Rotary policies and local laws.

·         Lead International Service Committee meetings and oversee activities.

·         Share best practices in international service across the district.

Requirements:

·         Passion for international service and Rotary ideals.

·         Understanding of Rotary structure, programs, and partners.

·         Experience collaborating and communicating across cultures.

·         Strong leadership and project management abilities.
