District Learning Facilitation Committee Member

Position Summary:

As a member of the District Learning Facilitation Committee, this role supports the Chair in executing educational strategies and learning opportunities to bolster club leadership and member knowledge across the district. The Committee Member aids in the utilization of Rotary's online resources, assists in organizing the Club Leadership Academy programs, and contributes to the overall goal of enhancing the abilities of Rotary clubs through targeted learning initiatives.

Term:

One year, renewable

Key Responsibilities:

One or more of the following:

·         Support Planning: Assist in developing the learning and development plan for the district, aligning with the educational goals set by Rotary International.

·         Workshop Assistance: Help in organizing and facilitating workshops, seminars, and webinars that focus on Rotary Club leadership and operational knowledge.

·         Resource Promotion: Encourage the use of Rotary’s online learning tools and assist club members in accessing these resources.

·         Curriculum Support: Collaborate with the team to develop content for the Club Leadership Academy programs.

·         Session Coordination: Help coordinate learning sessions, ensuring effective communication and attendance.

·         Committee Participation: Actively engage in committee meetings, contributing to goal setting, task execution, and promoting a culture of teamwork and learning.

·         Feedback Collection: Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback from educational sessions to help refine and enhance the learning offerings.

·         Technology Adoption: Support the integration of technology in learning processes, including aiding in virtual platform facilitation.

Requirements:

·         Rotary Involvement: Experience with Rotary, understanding its structure and programs.

·         Technological Capability: Adept with technology and online learning environments, with a readiness to master the features of www.rotary.org.

·         Supportive Leadership: Ability to support leadership initiatives and work collaboratively within a team.

·         Communication Skills: Good communication abilities to help convey information effectively.

·         Organizational Competence: Organizational skills to assist in managing various educational projects.

·         Creative Contribution: Ability to contribute creatively to the development of educational materials and learning solutions.
