District Rotaract Committee Chair

Position Summary:

As the Chair of the Rotary District Rotaract Committee, you will lead the efforts to support and expand the Rotaract program within the district. This key leadership role involves strategic planning, overseeing the development of existing clubs, spearheading the chartering of new clubs, and serving as a mentor and resource for Rotaract leaders. The Chair represents the bridge between Rotaract and Rotary, facilitating a dynamic partnership that promotes leadership, professional development, and community service among young adults.

This role is pivotal in shaping the future leaders of Rotary and requires a dedicated individual who can inspire action, foster development, and articulate the vision of Rotary to the younger generation.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the growth and support of Rotaract clubs within the district.

·         Club Development: Guide and support the chartering of new Rotaract Clubs by collaborating with local Rotary Clubs and identifying new opportunities in colleges, universities, and communities.

·         Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to Rotaract club officers, advising on effective club management, impactful project execution, and utilization of Rotary International resources.

·         Training Programs: Lead the organization and facilitation of training sessions for Rotaract leaders to bolster their leadership capabilities and understanding of Rotary’s vision and goals.

·         Community Building: Foster a robust network of communication and collaboration between Rotaract and Rotary members to strengthen community bonds and Rotary’s impact.

·         Performance Monitoring: Oversee the tracking and assessment of Rotaract Clubs' progress, ensuring timely and informative reporting to the District Leadership.

·         Event Oversight: Take the helm in organizing district-level Rotaract events, ensuring they align with Rotary’s mission and enhance the Rotaract experience.

·         Public Relations: Champion the promotion of Rotaract achievements and activities, enhancing the public image and visibility of the Rotaract Clubs within the district.

·         Rotary Proficiency: In-depth understanding of Rotary and its objectives, especially concerning youth programs like Rotaract.

·         Club Formation Expertise: Experience in the establishment and nurturing of new clubs or organizational entities.
