District Rotary Friendship Exchange Chair

Position Summary:

The District Rotary Friendship Exchange Chair is responsible for leading the Friendship Exchange program and facilitating cultural and professional connections between Rotarians from different countries. This role involves organizing exchanges, promoting the program, and ensuring positive experiences for all participants.

Reports To:

District Governor

Term:

One to three years, renewable at the discretion of the District Governor.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the planning and coordination of exchange visits.

· Promote the program to increase participation among district Rotarians.

· Screen and match applicants with appropriate international exchange opportunities.

· Ensure adherence to Rotary International’s Friendship Exchange policies.

· Communicate effectively with international partners to create opportunities for exchanges.

Requirements:

· Extensive experience with Rotary programs and values.

· Strong organizational and planning skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
